Join Jason Zook, Paul Jarvis, and Nathan Barry for an online masterclass this fall.
The class is about giving you a clear roadmap to turn your product dream into a reality. To make actual money from your ideas by learning from all the mistakes and failures we’ve made along the way.
Collectively the three of us have spent years using trial and error to perfect the product creation and launch process. Now we are able to distill the foundational lessons into this masterclass. Our goal is to save you a year or more of trial and error with one class.
We’ll share specific steps on how to grow your audience, how to validate your product (before wasting time and money), the most efficient ways to build actual products (with case studies), launch sequences that work extremely well for us, pricing and positioning advice we’d wish we’d had, and much more.
I created my first web product in the 90’s and it directly led to my first job as a designer (after which I sold the product for a big profit). I had no resume, no previous work experience, nothing but the success from launching.
Since then I’ve released many products, mostly books and courses - some have failed and some have been successes. I’ve sold 100,000 books and made over $1,000,000 selling courses. I’ve learned that while nothing is set in stone and no one owns a crystal ball to tell the future, there are definitely specific steps and processes you can use to move your product towards doing well.
I don’t just track audience numbers, sales or money as my metric for doing well either, for me it comes down to enjoyment, connection and value. Because I know that if I focus on those three things, I’ll be the most motivated to keep going and my tribe will the most motivated to keep supporting what I create for them.
If you would have asked me what a “product” was a few years ago I would have responded, “you mean, something on the shelves at a grocery store?” I had no idea what products were as they related to business.
When I dove into the world of entrepreneurship and working for myself I focused on service-based companies. While they did well for me, they always included the exchange of time for money. This business model is incredibly hard to scale and left me working long hours.
In 2012 I created my first product (an online course) and sold it. It was $99 and I think I had six purchases. I had no idea what I was doing, but I discovered that I really enjoyed the process. But what really got me excited was the fact that I could reuse, repackage, and sell the product in multiple ways (generating over $20,000 that year).
I’ve parlayed my experience building service-based products and my first product in 2012 into quite a few other products over the years. Like Nathan and Paul, I’ve released products that have done well and have honed a repeatable process for promoting every product I release. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over the years with you in the masterclass!
Have you ever looked at someone else’s successful product and thought, “I want that?” For years that was me looking enviously at other product businesses. Unfortunately that thought was followed up by “But I have no idea how to build it.”
How do you get ten thousand people to read everything you write? How do you even get ten people to buy your first product?
When I launched my first book it made $12,500 in the first 24 hours. But that wasn’t my first product, it was my 10th. The previous nine products made a little money, but were not big successes. But those first products were where I developed the foundation for building successful products.
Now, years later, I know exactly how to build and launch products, and see it as a consistent, repeatable process. That’s what we’ll be teaching in this class.
